Yes. Made-to-measure work is particularly useful for sloping, narrow or non-standard openings.

02Do you install driveway gates?

Yes, including timber gate pairs. We assess opening width, posts, swing space and how the driveway is used.

03Can the gate match my existing fence?

Usually. We can coordinate board direction, height and general style, subject to the existing materials and condition.

04How much does a made-to-measure timber gate cost?

Cost depends on the opening size, gate construction, timber, posts, hinges, latch and any adjoining fence work. We measure the opening and quote the complete fitted gate so the support and ironmongery are not overlooked.

05Can you replace the gate posts as well as the gate?

Yes. We inspect posts and adjoining walls or fencing before recommending reuse. A new gate will only work reliably if its supports are structurally suitable, correctly positioned and appropriate for the gate’s weight.

06What makes a garden gate secure and easy to use?

Correctly sized posts, braced construction, suitable hinges, a dependable latch and enough ground clearance all matter. We also check the swing, access route and how the gate will be used every day.
