Returns & Refund Policy

Deposits

A deposit may be required for certain projects, and if so, this will be confirmed in writing before work begins. Deposits can be refunded provided sufficient notice of cancellation is given and materials have not yet been ordered. Once materials have been purchased or work has been scheduled, deposits become non-refundable unless Heritage South West Landscaping Ltd cancels the project.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel a project before work has started, please notify us as soon as possible. Where cancellation occurs after materials have been purchased or work has begun, you may be charged for costs already incurred, including the cost of materials and labour.

Refunds

Refunds are not offered for completed installation work except where required by law. If you believe there is a defect in workmanship, you must notify us within 14 days of completion. We will inspect the work and, where appropriate, arrange for repair or replacement of the affected area at no extra cost.

Materials

All materials are sourced from trusted suppliers, and many products such as composite decking, gates and artificial grass carry manufacturer warranties against defects. Heritage South West Landscaping Ltd is not the manufacturer and does not provide additional warranties on materials. However, we will pass on any warranty information provided and, if needed, assist you in making a claim with the supplier or manufacturer. Refunds are not available for surplus or unused materials once they have been delivered to site.

Bespoke Goods

Refunds for bespoke goods, which are custom-made to the customer’s specific requirements, will not normally be granted. However, if there are defects or errors in fulfilling those requirements, we will work with you to find a suitable resolution.

Timber Disclaimer

As timber is a natural product, we cannot be held responsible for natural characteristics that may occur in the future, such as shrinkage, expansion, warping or splits.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
